Course Description:

This Erasmus+ course is designed for coordinators, project managers, and school leaders who want to organize international mobilities and partnerships in a more sustainable and environmentally responsible way. Participants will explore how to embed green principles into the full project cycle — from planning and budgeting to implementation, reporting, and dissemination.

Through a blend of interactive workshops, Dutch best-practice visits, and real-case simulations, the training provides practical tools to reduce the carbon footprint of Erasmus+ activities. Topics include sustainable travel options, eco-certified accommodation, low-impact logistics, and the use of digital tools to replace or complement physical mobility.

The Netherlands, as one of Europe’s pioneers in sustainable innovation, offers a perfect environment to experience how “green thinking” can enhance both project quality and impact. Participants will visit Dutch organizations that have successfully combined mobility, inclusion, and sustainability within Erasmus+ frameworks.

By the end of the course, participants will design their own Green Mobility Strategy, which can be directly integrated into upcoming Erasmus+ project proposals and institutional development plans.
