Blended and Hybrid Learning: Teaching Beyond Borders

This Erasmus+ course equips educators with the skills and strategies to combine in-person and online learning in a seamless, effective, and inclusive way. As education evolves, blended and hybrid models allow schools to reach more students, promote flexibility, and reduce environmental impact — perfectly aligning with Erasmus+ priorities for Digital Transformation and Green Mobility. Participants will explore a wide range of digital platforms and collaborative tools used in Dutch education, including Microsoft Teams, Zoom for Education, Google Classroom, and Moodle. They will gain hands-on experience designing hybrid lessons that engage learners both in the classroom and remotely, while maintaining interactivity and quality.

The course also highlights how hybrid mobility can make Erasmus+ projects more inclusive — enabling participation for those unable to travel, and more sustainable, by reducing carbon footprint through virtual exchange.
Through guided workshops and school visits, participants will observe how Dutch institutions have integrated hybrid systems into their Erasmus+ partnerships, maintaining strong cross-border collaboration and learner engagement.

By the end of the program, participants will create a Hybrid Learning and Mobility Plan, ready to implement within their own Erasmus+ projects or educational contexts.
