AI Tools for Teachers: Smart Classrooms of the Future

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the future of education — and this Erasmus+ course empowers teachers to understand, use, and manage AI tools with confidence, ethics, and creativity. Through interactive workshops and guided practice, participants will explore how AI can enhance teaching quality, reduce workload, and personalize learning experiences without losing the essential human touch.

Participants will gain hands-on experience with AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Canva Magic Write, Quizizz AI, and adaptive learning tools. They will learn how to use AI to generate teaching materials, automate administrative tasks, create visual and interactive content, and support differentiated instruction.

The course also focuses on AI literacy — understanding what AI can and cannot do — and the importance of responsible and ethical use in line with the European Commission’s guidelines on trustworthy AI and GDPR standards. Real-world examples from Dutch schools will showcase how AI is already being used to foster creativity, inclusion, and innovation in classrooms.

By the end of the course, each participant will develop a Practical AI Implementation Plan for their institution, aligning digital innovation with Erasmus+ and EU Digital Education priorities.
