Course Description:

This Erasmus+ course is designed for teachers, school leaders, and education professionals who wish to embed sustainability and climate awareness into their school culture and teaching practice. Through a combination of workshops, field visits, and collaborative projects, participants will explore how education can drive positive environmental change and inspire students to take active responsibility for the planet.

The Netherlands, known for its innovative environmental policies, green infrastructure, and strong educational standards, provides the perfect learning environment for educators seeking practical, real-world solutions. Participants will visit eco-friendly schools, sustainable community projects, and urban initiatives in Haarlem and Amsterdam to witness how “green thinking” can become part of daily life.

By the end of the course, each participant will design a Sustainability Action Plan tailored to their institution — ensuring long-term impact beyond the mobility period.
